A well armored tactical mastermind. He works well alone and is an excellent warrior as long as the enemy isn't employing magic abilities.
Review[]
Lyc is one of the best tanks in the game if not the best (excluding epics). He has a relatively high health pool, with outstanding defense and low protection. His special ability to is to cast a targeted circular area of effect on a hero that damages enemies around them and reduces their dmg by 50%. His 4th skill increases his base defence and protection by an additional 90% if he is the only tank. This makes him the best viable solo non epic tank for campaigns and non pvp events.
Campaign
He is a mainstay on the campaign trail and often times other tanks will not get a look in unless they are a higher level than him.
Arena
His use in PvP is non-existant. He has low mobility and protection and does not offer much value.
Special Events
Levels Challenge - He is a great option for the last few stages when you need a damage soaker up front.
Waves - This is where Lyc shines the most. His weakness ability reduces damage significantly and due to his 4th skill he can take a beating.
Solo / Clan Bosses - A viable option especially when you face swarms of enemies.
Gear Advice
Attack slot - Typically any item that offers an incease to his hp, def or prot.
Defense slots – Due to his high defence, HP and Protection are great items to use. Most will have some element of defence which is an added bonus
Magic slots – Lyc has very low protection so gear with a flat (+) increase to protection is preferred.
